[RPG]Who's Who

Cheiromancer

Adventurer
There are, besides the humble author of this post, 12 heroes who have distinguished themselves in the arena. The following gives the names of these characters, their aliases, their current wealth, current level, and current notable possessions, if any:

Aphrodite (GreyShadow)
963 gp on hand, 0 in the bank
level 9.25; scalemail (160 gp value)

Wood (Altamont Ravenard)
611 gp and 148 gp
level 6.85; scalemail (160 gp)

diaglo (diaglo)
26 gp and 850 gp
level 5.86; banded mail (360 gp) and pony (500 gp)

Kamarath (Camarath)
21 gp and 733 gp
level 4.52; pony (500)

Dilwar Sureway (xazil)
0 gp and 111 gp
level 4.15; chainmail (250)

Pielorinho (Pielorinho)
340 gp and 0 gp
level 3.06; chainmail (250)

Caltros the Witty (MEG Hal)
17 gp and 0 gp
level 3.01

Eccles (Eccles)
5 gp and 860 gp
level 2.84

Mr Mortis (rigur)
42 gp and 0 gp
level 2.48; halfplate (490 gp)

The Ghost of RuminDange (RuminDange)
0 gp and 409 gp
level 2.55

Imperion (jgbrowning)
0 gp and 1172 gp
level 1.69

Zappo (Zappo)
11 gp on hand, 686 in the bank
level 1.44

Note that Aphrodite does not like banks, and that many low level characters are quite wealthy. In fact, if the lower level characters devoted themselves to sparring (except for the penurious Mr Mortis), they would easily advance several levels, and be able to earn quite respectable salaries.

Let's take a moment to offer congratulations to Pielorinho and Caltros the Witty for their recent promotion to 3rd level, and to Dilwar Sureway for ascending to 4th. And let us wish good luck to Camarath as he gets close to 5th level and a substantial increase in salary.

Many other characters are registered as RPG members, of course, but most seem to have lost interest. It is my hope that as these 12 lead the way, the interest of the other RPG members may be rekindled.

-Ares (Cheiromancer)
82 gp and 400 gp
level 13.2; dwarven plate (1000) and Longbow (800)

Oh, wait. You meant that *I* was gloating, didn't you? :o

Well, maybe a little. But I should also mention, then, that Ares had a characteristic act of hubris, and tried to tackle a troll. He raged, got in a few hits.... and got killed in a single blow. Lowest amount of xp in a single day for a long time, and it took 82 gp to heal him back up. So he has cause to be embarassed. Or I do, since I'm playing him. Darn roleplaying and the havoc it plays with pronouns!

Anyways, I think that the situation is ripe for an explosion within our tiny RPG community. Enough folk have the cash and/or salaries to start to spar, thereby getting higher in level and being able to kill better monsters and make more money, thereby being able to equip themselves the better to spar...

Soon (I hope) folks will be able to sponsor low level characters, guilds can be formed, and so on. Maybe in another month; maybe sooner, depending if we can get ourselves organized.

I wish that we had a better way of matching up for combats. I would be willing to pay people to fight me! (If they lose, that is. I don't think I should pay them if they beat me!) But the regulars (Aphrodite, Diaglo and yourself, Wood) don't seem to be around; at least not on Messenger. I'm afraid that I was such an annoyance that they are now blocking me.

Anyways, if anyone has any ideas about revitalizing the RPG, please speak up!

Aphrodite is still around.

I've just had a busy week at work. What with the government wanting to put a freeway through our factories.

Hi all while I have not had a good 24hrs on this board, Caltros did just fine :D .

He will take donations as he gets them---

Need an RPG guy fund drive, Caltros needs a newe pair of shoes, no serious he has sandals :p .

Keep up the good work all and fight the good fight.

50 gp are on their way to Caltros; curiously, I note that the number of iron greaves in stock is zero. Let me know how you do!
Yeah they were sold out, and Morrus hasn't replenished the stocks. Every Greaves that the old characters had have been destroyed.
