RPGNow Announces Print Distribution Deal
October 27, 2005
RPGNow, the market leader in PDF sales, is pleased to announce that
we've reached agreement with three of the top distributors in the game
industry to make print versions of various products from RPGNow
publishers available via brick-and-mortar game stores worldwide.
The agreement, with Alliance Games, Inc. Blackhawk Hobby Distributors,
Inc. and Centurion Hobby Distributors, Inc., will see select products
from RPGNow publishers not currently available in distribution, brought
to the shelves of game stores via the existing three-tier network of
the game industry.
"We feel that this first step towards integration between the PDF and
Print sides of the industry represents a milestone," says James Mathe,
owner of RPGNow. "Allowing retailers to carry the more popular
products that have until now only been available electronically is of
benefit not only to the retailers and publishers, but to the average
gamer as well, who can now sample a wider array of product choices."
Watch for future announcements from RPGNow regarding the products that
will initially be available, and news regarding the eventual expansion
of this program.
