LITTLE ROCK, AR – April 29, 2004 – Troll Lord Games announced the limited release of the Codex of Erde Gazetteer on RPGnow.

“This summer promises to be a busy time for TLG. The Castles and
Crusades™ and Lejendary Adventure™ Role Playing Games are both moving
forward. But this doesn’t mean we’ve forgotten some of our older
projects,” remarked Stephen Chenault. “The world of Erde as it appears
in the print version of the Codex of Erde has long been a staple product for us, but we are always looking to bring in more fans. RPGnow offers the perfect venue for this.”

The Codex of Erde Gazetteer is a 36 page pdf and retails for 5.00. It is available only through RPGnow. For more information visit the Troll Lord Games website at www.trolllord.com, or the sale page at http://www.rpgnow.com.

The only 'new' material in the Gazatteer is the planescapes and language material, which we had for download on our website for about a year. So its not really new I suppose. Aside from that it hasn't anything new that would supplement your Codex.

As for the use of limited, by that we meant, it will only be available on RPGnow. I'm going to work on getting the map up there this weekend as well.

The Gazetteer is designed to give people a taste of what Erde is like, before they commit the 35 dollars for the book and nine modules. By looking over the Gazatteer you can say 'yeppers, me likes' or 'not for me' without spending too much money.

To give you more of a taste I've updated the webpage and supplied four pdf downloads here: http://www.trolllord.com/erde.htm

What we have on the immediate horizon for Erde are the maps by Clayton Bunce. He's agreed to redo our World Map in two large scale maps. We will take these combine them with a 48 page YearBook with any revisions and additions. This will retail for about 10.00 and come in a package reminiscent of the old World of Greyhawk folder/binder (I'm not sure what that is called).
We are hoping for a Gencon release.

Hallo all,

Davis reminded that the After Winter Dark Setting (which this Gazetteer is modeled after) was nominated for an ennie back in the day...2000? I think.
