RPGNow Mailing Options Updated!

Since so many of our customers come from this site, I wanted to make you all aware there we recently updated the mailing list options on our site. We realise that many of your were sick of seeing press releases or general publisher company info and thus turned off the mail from them. That is fine but you also miss out on some important mails from them.

So we have setup options so that you can accept coupons or product update info without having to listen to the publisher babble about their great new products or hired help.

But, to use these features you MUST go back to RPGNow and login, click MY ACCOUNT and then EDIT at the bottom. Then you can click the checkboxes by which type of emails you'd like to recieve.

Really, really cool! That was a much-needed feature.


Sounds like customers have to manually adjust their account to receive update notifications... can't that be done as standard, or would people consider that spamming? (Which IMO wouldn't happen.)

We defaulted it to their accept vendor email option. We can't set them to true by default do to spam laws and the activists that help enforce them.
