RS2: The Tokyo Problem (Velmont Judging)

Beyond the security checkpoint is a bank of elevators and a hallway that opens out to a large room, bisected by cubicals. A woman walks to the class, and greets them, welcoming them to Ichitawa Industires-Tokyo Design and Industries Headquarters.

<<The tour will be split into several groups by class. The first class will begin on the ground floor, where we do customer service. The second class will begin on floor 4 at the factory observation. The third class will begin on floor 6 with design.>>

The groups of high schoolers begin to split into groups, the teachers calling for the students to line up.

Marie paused, trying not to panic. "Ok, this is going to get awkward really fast" She looks around, hoping to spot a bathroom or some other spot where she could disengage from the others.

OOC:Gus is obviously unphased, at least for his own person. I should let everyone know I'm going to Dragon-Con this weekend, though, and will be out of contact until Monday or Tuesday.

With the students milling about getting into their class lines, and with some workers moving past them she is able to slip into an empty elevator.

Marie glanced over the elevator controls, hoping to spot anything out of the ordinary. She keyed her radio. "Ok, I'm in the elevator. Any ideas of where to go next? These things usually have cameras so I dont exactly want to look like I'm that hesitant about where I want to go. I'm pretty conspicuous enough as is."

"Try top floor," Gus replies. "if Kitsune doesn't have other ideas. Is always important in movies."

OOC: It's not 'real' armor so much as mystical 'stuff' that looks it, so she doesnt weigh any different. Around 120 pounds, give or take a few depending on what she ate last.

Marie presses the button for the top floor and the doors close...but nothing else happens. She tries again, but the elevator continues not to move. As she presses it a third time a red light blinks angerly above what appears to be a card reader.
