Rubik’s Cube | a twist on character generation

I had this idea about using a Rubik’s Cube as a way to generate the standard 6 D&D stats.

It’s fair to say, this idea probably wouldn’t appeal to the purists. But, if you’re after something a bit fun and different, it might appeal.

That's pretty fun. I don't think I would use it to generate a new character, but I could see a magic trap the alters a character who fails a save. Tell them to mix up the Rubics cube, while you resolve other players' actions. Then when you get back to that player, tell him or her to stop. Take the cube and start reading off their new temporary stat block.
