Ruins of the Wild (DD Tiles)

I do wish that they would make more 1x1 or 1x2 tiles though with things like Dugeon Dressings like torches, treasure piles, beds, desks and chests (or tents, bedrolls and campfires) so that you can customise things more to your liking. I'm sure that is something that they will be looking at doing in the future.

I will make this recomendation as well as corridors in larger widths for huges etc.

More 1x4 and 1x8 would also be nice, for either 5' corridors (hiss!) or for those 15' corridors we see from time to time. :)

Cheers!

Cool!

I'm glad you're listening to our suggestions and taking them on board Scott. Blank room tiles with dungeon dressings (i.e. beds, chests, tables, chairs, etc.,) as separate tiles to place on top of them make things a lot more flexible from my perspective.

If I want to use a tile that has some other illustration on it (like a pile of treasure for example) I have to tell my group to ignore it. Separate tiles avoid this and also mean that I can place things exactly where I want them in the room. On that note, some door tiles would also be great. Single and double doors would both be appreciated.

And since you are checking this thread Scott, can I also suggest more angled and curved pieces for Dungeon themed tiles. Dungeon rooms aren't always square or rectangular. Building on the angled tiles that were in DT3 would be good.

Individual trees and bushes and rocks that are 1x1, 1x2, 1x3, 1x4, 2x2, 2x3, 3x3 (maybe) would also be good for a set of Wilderness Tiles. Combine these with a couple of large but generally empty wilderness-type tiles would allow a DM to customise the set-up quite a bit.

Yes! That is exactly what I need. I haven't bought any of the previous sets, since I am happy just drawing out dungeons on a battle mat, but drawing out a forest just takes way, way too long. Having a couple of large tiles that are just dense forest and a bunch of smaller tiles of individual trees would be a product that I would definately buy.

Hmmm, how about a roadside set as well? Road tiles, bridge, toll gate... have river on the other side. Perhaps half the set could be 4 x 10? Maybe a wagon or two, a couple of intersections and you're good to go!

I also was a bit disappointed about it at first. I also thought it would be more modular. However, they worked amazingly well when I first used the tiles last game session. A lot better than the battle-mat approach I've been using so far. It may not be as flexible but it sped up preparation time a lot.

I certainly hope they'll do some more wilderness type tiles :)
