PC mimics dream of something more than sitting around in a dungeon pretending to be a chest until someone gets greedy. They pursue their dreams as an adventurer with falling back on chest mimicry as a fallback career. PC slimes are oozes who develop a nucleus capable of adapting new special abilities including sapience and the ability to form a vaguely humanoid body when necessary.

The Lost Bay Quickstart | Elevator Game | Diesel Service | Unit DH-17 | Moe's House of Meat by The Lost Bay Studio
  • SYSTEM: Dungeons & Dragons Fifth Edition
  • PRODUCT TYPE: hardcover setting/deck of 52 cards/GM screen and adventure
  • RETAIL PRICE: $15/$22/$16/$15/$6
  • DESCRIPTION: The Lost Bay is like any other place in the 1990s with a skate park, wild horses, arcade games, and of course ghosts. The PCs, young and wild, dwell here. They are touched by the Weird: it’s in their blood and grants them extraordinary Powers. On a random weekday, PCs could defeat a servant of the Faceless God in a laundromat, acquire a new Power by watching a cursed VHS tape, and feed fresh meat to their zombie cat. Full rules to follow. This quickstart contains three Vibes (playable classes), core rules, and a starter adventure with wild alligators and flamingos. Elevator Game is a deep dive into underground music, urban legend, and the tattoo world. PCs receive three issues of the punk zine Elevator Game (included as player handouts with the GM's guide) contain clues linked to an advertised shop that have experienced mysterious disappearances. Also includes a brand new Vibe: The Mosher. Includes the 40-page GM's guide and the three 8-page issues of Elevator Game (an in-world publication). Diesel Service is an adventure in which the PCs witness a strange hit-and-run car accident that leads them to investigate a caravan of trucks that has been terrorizing the streets of the Bay. Those investigations may lead them to Mile Marker 66, where a summoning ritual will be performed next night if the PCs don’t stop it. Unit DH-17 is a small, ordinary prefab suburban house hides subterranean flesh abominations. Maybe the PCs shouldn’t have accepted that babysitting gig. Moe's House of Meat, a solo adventure, is a seedy restaurant, open 24 hours, and is a well-known spot for teens to congregate. Also, it is the last place several missing people have been seen. The PC starts with $5d6 and stuck in the basement of Moe's, next on the menu, unless the PC can escape.

Oh interesting, new release for Shield Maidens. Does anyone have reviews about the game in general? I’ve been curious about it because the setting/theme seems interesting, but haven’t found much about it online.
