I think if you're waiting for print support, you'll be holding your breath a while. I would not be surprised to see support for those classes in DDI within the next few months.

Is this confirmed anywhere, that the HotFK/HotFL and Rules Compendium is the new evergreen and no longer the PHB line?

Well, it says so on the back of 'Heroes of Shadow'. There's not even any mention that you can use the book with the PHB.
