RUMOR! SW Galaxies to use d20 engine

Knights of the Old Republic _will_ use d20 rules. That isn't a rumor; I saw it demoed at E3 this year, and the Power Attack feat was already implemented.

I haven't heard anything about Galaxies, and I kinda doubt that Verant would use any ruleset they couldn't change on the fly.

Star Wars Galaxies is a skills-based system. There are definitely no "classes" in the game, ala Soldier, Fringer, Jedi Guardian, etc, there are no character levels, and the way that health is handled is very different from the d20 rules, just to name a few big differences.

There was talk that the upcoming Bioware Star Wars RPG, Knights of the Old Republic, would be based on Star Wars d20. This rumor may be confusing Galaxies with KOTOR.
