Double G Press is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement with Politically Incorrect Games (PIG) to publish an edition of the Rune Stryders(tm) fantasy-mecha roleplaying game for use with Great White Games' Savage Worlds(tm) roleplaying system. This new, alternate edition will be available in both PDF and softcover formats Summer 2005.

Rune Stryders is the ORIGINAL Fantasy Mecha Roleplaying Game. It is a game where anyone can use runes to create magical effects and power hulking war machines known as 'stryders'. Some are organic in nature, others are steel constructs, and still others are assembled from bits and bones. The original Rune Stryders is currently available in PDF format from Politically Incorrect Games. Look for a revised edition to hit store shelves Fall 2005 as well as official Disposable Heroes(tm) paper miniatures.

The Savage Worlds edition of Rune Stryders will be a 152-page comprehensive roleplaying sourcebook that contains character creation rules, complete guidelines on runic magic, detailed background information regarding the world of Rhun, fifty distinct plot-points and a complete and ready-to-run introductory adventure. It will be available in both PDF and softcover formats and is slated for release later this summer.

"PIG is looking forward to this new, alternate version of Rune Stryders," says Brett Bernstein of Politically Incorrect Games. "Not only do Savage Worlds fans get to use fantasy, rune magic, and mecha, but they will also be able to incorporate our upcoming Rune Stryders downloadable paper miniatures for tactical play. Double G Press is very ambitious and I can't wait to see the finished product of both this and their Ravaged Earth book."

"We are honored that Politically Incorrect Games has granted us an official license to produce a Savaged! version of their immensely popular Rune Stryders game," says Peter Leitch of Double G Press. "Rune Stryders is a unique fantasy setting that is perfectly suited for use with the Savage Worlds rules. Hopefully, this will be the beginning of a long and prosperous friendship for both companies!"
