Precis Intermedia has released a set of Disposable Heroes(R) Paper Miniatures for use with its Rune Stryders RPG. This set lets you select, customize, and download paper miniatures and counters to enhance your Rune Stryders gaming experience.

Rune Stryders takes place in a world of machines and magic. It presents a fantasy world where anyone can use runes to create magical effects. People kill to discover new runes as magic is not only deadly, but also powers hulking war machines called stryders. Some are organic in nature, others are steel constructs, and still others are assembled from bits and bones. Rune Stryders combines a rich atmosphere and extensive collection of magical runes with elements of both a roleplaying and a tactical game. Complete, yet flexible and easy to learn rules combined with templates for creating both characters and stryders, provide plenty of room for customization. There are no classes to restrict you, although limits may still be set. Its modular yet consistent design means that you can easily switch between man-to-man combat, Stryder combat, Stryder-to-man combat, tactical Stryder combat, and Rune combat.
Disposable Heroes are full color, downloadable paper miniatures that can be customized through an online interface. You can specify which figures are downloaded to a PDF file, as well as whether or not they are labeled and/or numbered. In addition, entire pages of duplicate figures can be downloaded, making the creation of armies a breeze. Plus, flat counters can also be created. When printed, the minis are sharp and detailed (black & white figures can also be downloaded for those with older non-color printers). The next generation of downloadable paper minis are here -- affordable and customizable, you can't go wrong with Disposable Heroes. Also look for our low-cost, plastic stand-up bases for better tabletop stability and to cut down on assembly times.
