Running the Witchfire Trillogy, any advice

Caspian Marqine

First Post
With the recent release of the Iron Kingdom's Character Guide I'm planning to run the Witchfire Trillogy sometime in the future. This is a question to those who have run that set of adventures, on whether there are any pitfalls I should avoid.

I pose this question mostly because of one of the core NPCs in the book. It is a person who has 10 or so levels in sorcerer, which I balk at due to the great difference in the levels of the party, which during the 1st adventure starts off at around 1 or 2. Design wise I find this terribly odd, and something that could come into contention when a party is run against that person.

If anyone has any ideas that'd be cool.

I am actually running through this as a player. You could swing by our boards (see sig) and ask our DM any questions you might have. Just don't give anything away...hehe!

First question, do you care about spoilers? I have played through nearly the entire trilogy as a player, and am in the process of running a group through it as a DM, so I am pretty well-versed with the world and the campaign.

Hmm.. I don't really see your problem... She is supposed to be that powerful. They aren't supposed to have a chance against her, she is, after all, going to be the protagonist throughout three adventures and eight levelups for the characters...

I have run the trilogy the whole way through, but I haven't got the time to write more right now, though I might get back to this thread later...
