Ryan Dancey calls Monte Cook a Rebel

If it's any consolation, I plan to name my first son Erik (with a K). Not because of you, Mr. Mona (no offense, just not my reason), but rather because I like the sound of the name, and I like how the K spelling is sort of non-conformist. :)
Over here, the K spelling is the standard. Torsten is a pretty common name too, with the standard being without an H.

While I'm sure Ryan would be happy to come up with a nickname for me, I'd hope he'd spell my first name with a K. :)

Hey at least they didn't spell your name the way Wizards spells Wayne Reynolds.

Man don't I know that pain. Growing up my sister got all this cool stuff with her name on it, but I always had to draw a line on the C and try to make it look like a K *sigh*.

On the plus side, Erik does mean "Ever-powerful, ever-ruling."

Battle On,

Erik Dewey

My first name is Tilmann. People write it usually Tilman, Tillmann, Tillman, Thilman, Thilmann,... Whatever. My spelling seems to be the most unusual.

I get my first name spelled wrong frequently as well, as "Jonathan" is the usual spelling. In my case, though, it's "John" and "Nathan" merged at the "n."

This is weird, because there was a fairly lengthy period of my life during which I thought it would be cool to name a son (should I ever have one) Torstien. Not exactly the same, I know, but close.

The mental image of Monte Cook on a harely wearing sunglassess and sporting a "Wizards Sux Staves" tatoo would be something I would probably pay drug money for.

Mwahahahahaha....Rebel. Kee-hee. :)

Am I the only one...

I spell my name Spe7ncer. The 7 is silent. :p

BTW, I'm surprised nobody has complimented AgamoNNa on getting Erik's ("no, I am not the guy from the Gazebo story") name right. :p
