Already the perfection of the spell Harm seems to be threatened in the "revised" edition of D&D. This thread is the membership drive for my new organization, S.H.I.N.Y. That stands for Save Harm In the New Year. We have to stick together if we're going to stop the revisionists who want to "update" Harm and teach evolution in the schools, and let WotC know that we won't stand for the miasmatic destruction of our favorite spell, Harm.

Keep on harmin', folks.
MANIFESTO:
Harm is perfect as written. Harm's description is the pinnacle of cogent explanation, the zenith of game balance, the nirvana of willful and terrifying damage to the bodily health of PCs and NPCs alike--and we like it that way! We, the proud membership of S.H.I.N.Y., challenge the designers of WotC, and their liege-lords the Executives, to ignore the naysayers and the triffids, and leave Harm intact in the Revised Core Books. History will vindicate you!
