I have been looking for just this class. thought I would have to settel for the "descrete companion PrC" which is either in traps and trechery or quintissential rogue.

as a name I would have called it a courtisian, after all, they ARE professional and DO have a plethera of other " ptofessional companion or escort skills such as perform"

Glad folks like the class. I'm particularly enjoying checking out the notes folks are making about integrating this class into non-Scarred Lands campaigns.

That is one of our aims with the Players Guide series - we are ostensibly handing out more information on the Scarred Lands to our current fan base. However, we have gone the extra mile to make sure that we include ways in which the cool parts of the books might be used to expand any campaign setting.

To this end, there is an Introduction for each of the book that sort of gives some ideas on how to integrate the information in the book into various game types, from Low Fantasy to High Fantasy, Gothic Horror to Science Fantasy.

Additionally, (though I didn't include it above), each of the prestige classes will come with a sidebar that gives ideas for incorporating that prestige class into non-Scarred Lands campaigns, including mechanical adjustments that might be necessary.

Oh, and I just showed this thread to a friend of mine who is DMing a Scarred Lands campaign in which I am a PC. He thought it was pretty cool as well. Too bad our party is nowhere near Shelzar at the moment. We're busy running away from Black Dragoons in Calastia.
