Sacred/Profane Strike as a Clerical Class Ability?

I was looking over Mongooses Ultimate Prestige Classes and came across this ability under the Divine Hammer prestige class. The character gains this ability upon entering the prestige class, whch puts the character at eleventh level. I was wondering if it would be so bad to just add this ability to the cleric at some point between 5th and 8th level.

It would probably help if you posted what the ability is, as not that many people have a copy of said product.

Aye. And in any case, if given, it should probably take the place of turning/rebuking for clerics who choose it. The only cleric that isn't already more powerful than everyone else is a stupid or psuedo-pacifist cleric. {:^D
