I'm still a bit confused. Let's say that a wizard is seated on a carpet of flying and casts the unseen servant spell. Can an unseen servant drag 100 pounds of coins (in a sack) from the front to the back end of a nine foot long carpet of flying? Can this be done while the carpet is moving at its top speed of 120 feet? Can the unseen servant carrying twenty pounds of material hover above the caster (or even below) while the carpet is in flight and does that weight add into the 1,200 pound capacity of the carpet of flying (whether above or below)? Conceivably, a caster can cast multiple unseen servants and have them combine to carry a person while hovering and exceed the weight limits of the carpet...?

If it could normally drag 100 pounds along the ground, then it could do it on the carpet as well.

If the caster is on the carpet, then the speed of the carpet has not effect, because the unseen servant is moving in relation to the caster, not the carpet.

Yes, and I believe it would add to total weight the carpet is carrying.

In my opinion, it would still count against the carrying capacity of the carpet.

Yes, if you had the wizard cast Unseen Servant enough times you could theoretially suspend someone beneath the carpet and fly it at a hill giant. Of course, you could do the same thing with a rope.

In either case, the fighter shouldn't be the one making an attack roll when you buzz the giant, because "aiming" the fighter depends on the skill of the person sitting on the carpet, not the fighter who dangling underneath. The fighter wouldn't have a Dex bonus to AC either, because he can't move himself out of the way of any blows, he's being held in mid-air by the unseen servants.

What if the multiple unseen servants are holding up a 5 x 5 ft platform (or larger) upon which the fighter is standing? ...or if the fighter is on a facsimile of a mount? Does the charge bonus ever come into play?
