[Salvatore] Immortalis: The last Demon Wars book (possible spoilers)

Well, just finished it. I have found the series to be very well done overall. I think Salvatore has grown as a writer while doing it. With the exception of the 2nd book I think this is his most entertaining series. The first book was an excellent opening, Mortalis was excellent the final three books have been worth followups.

I was dissappointed by the ending. But only because the series is over and we have to now wait for prequels. The finale almost seemed a little too neat and compact but then I remembered the setup in the previous books. It was also a little odd that he reused an element from one of his earlier books but I didn't mind, I just wasn't surprised.

Overall, very enjoyable and a worthy ending to a very entertaining novel series. It's good to see RAS not writing about Drizzt from time to time.

Could you list all the Demon Wars books? I started to read the first one about half a year ago, but I had to return it to the library, and now I'm planning on just buying the books to read them at my leisure.

I've been hoping for another Crimson Shadow book, but it's been so long since I read them I can't remember if it was left open enough for any more books.

The Crimson Shadow books were okay, I liked them but the Demon Wars stuff is better to me. As for the ending it was pretty well wrapped up from what I recall.

Heheh. That was a cool character. It also happens to be the only charcter that Salvatore has played as a PC that ended up in one of his novels.
