Basicly, you have a GM, and x amount of characters. The GM, instead of just speaking, types out stuff, and the characters respond ICly to stuff. It's basicly like RPing online, but structured like tabletop.

I think other stuff uses automations and whatnot. We just have a dice rolling system, and go at it tabletop style. [/B]

Hmmm, sounds a lot like gaming in an IRC chatroom. I can never pay attention in those things for a whole session. too many net distractions. I'm more a PBEM guy.

I hope our departure from the group also causes the people who stayed, especially Bill, the DM's best friend, to have some doubt over the whole thing, and maybe they'll see him as we've seen him, an ***hole, a prick (can I say prick on these boards?) and just an all around jerk who can die for all I'm hoping. Better yet, I hope this experience tells his remaining players something about how bad a DM he is, and he gets overthrown and they get a new DM, and throw him out with the garbage.

i agree with your sentiment. he was a jerk, but he did teach you a few things.

leave earlier next time, you fell less ty about it then.

To access this sort've thing, you use GMUD, MUSHClient, SimpleMU, etc.
