I need your help. I'm looking for a very specific samurai image and can not remember where to locate it without a lot of unnecessary work and trips to my library.
The image can be found in one of the Time Life books on WW2 history, but since there are quite a few I might have my hands full unless someone can help me out.
The image is of a samurai after a battle riding away from your viewpoint on horseback. The samurai and the horse both have arrows that are sticking out. I also seem to remember that there were heads of the samurai's fallen foes on the rear of the horse. Someone had mentioned to me at the time that the image was actually of a famous samurai, but the samurai's name alludes me.
I'm not sure if this helps anyones memory, but I do believe that the image was part of a large wooden plaque as well. The plaque was what was shown in the Time Life book.
