No, in the "not correct at all" sort of way. MongooseMatthew told me that book was being written about 2-3 months ago when I sent in an outline for another one of the Quintessential books.

I think it had more to do with the fact that Mongoose announced their Quintessential Race books a full week after Green Ronin announced theirs. If you weren't privy to that when it happened, you won't get the joke.

Not that there's anything earthshattering about covering the races, don't get me wrong. It's an obvious extension to the line. Matt just had the misfortune of announcing two "me too!'s" in a row. If Matt wants to keep his cards close to his chest until after someone has announced a similar project, that's his business (literally).

Truth be told, I just assume that Mongoose will produce EVERYTHING. They are, after all, the rising supernova of d20 publishing.

Actually, the funniest part was Green Ronin announcing theirs on teh SAME day as ..er...another company. (Can't remember off hand, but it was funny, and Nikchik even commented
