Update

I returned from the San Francisco area a few days ago and wanted to give a quick update on my 3e adventure. (A local told me not to ever refer to the city as "frisco")

I made it to Gator Games in San Mateo. The place was full with both WOTC and non-WOTC 3e items. All brands were represented and the selection was excellent.

A store representative was kind enough to inform me about an “open-house” night in the area that takes place once a week at Go-Getters pizza in Foster City. I dropped in on a game, as advertised, and had a fun night of gaming.

Also, “The Banner,” is a free official newsletter for the Bay Area Roleplaying Society that lists all events, shops, news, and general happenings for the area. One can access this publication on-line at www.BayRPS.com.

From what I can tell, the Bay Area is hopping with gaming action. I had a good time and look forward to returning.
