[Savage Species] Survivor PrC

Got a look at this book the other day, and I gotta say its pretty sweet! One thing that caught my eye was the Survivor PrC, thats probably about the wierdest one I've ever seen. Uncanny dodge, evasion and DR within 5 levels. Plus all good saves, but low skills and no BAB at all.... I have two questions for the board:


1 How would you use this class for a PC? No matter what kind of character type you make (combat, skills, spellcasting), they get hurt pretty bad.

2 Did you know that a 1st level commoner can qualify for this class?


I'd almost want to give it a try, mostly for flavor, but I think I'd be sorta useless combat wise. Except as a flanker and meat shield of course.

ROFLMAO, you know, you're RIGHT ... ANY level Commoner! LOL!!

Give your peasants Improved Evasion and DR 5/- ... let 'em pick up the Survivor PrC! (actually, in some "deep frontier" type settings, that might make SENSE ...)

A level of Cleric and a wand of Divine Power takes care of the BAB problem.

Well, for 7 rounds at a cost of 420gp a pop, anyway.
