Savage World Game concept.

[Argent Silvermage]

HI All,
I would like some help an a new campaign idea. I have fallen in love with the idea of using templates on the base races and decided to create a world around the concept.

The world is basicly a D&D world like grayhawk but there has been a change. All the races will have a template on them.
Basic concepts are

1) Insectile Elves
2) 1/2 Earth elemental Gnomes
3) Ferral Dwarves
4) Winged Halflings
5) Tauric Humans (Choice of animal)

Now for the why and How....

I'm invisioning a war among the gods with The god of Chaos winning and reshaping the world "in It's own image".


There should only be 5 dieties. Order, Chaos, Good, Evil, and Nature.

I'm thinking the tech/magic level would be very limited. Most races are returning from devistation and have had to rebuild from scratch.

Oh... and Faeries will now be forces of nature and most likely evil in nature.

Just thinking at this point. But may play this as a PbP game. Humans may become reptillian not tauric. I want to keep the templates ballanced. Need more for the dwarves or give them a level of Barbarian for free. (actualy that would work.)

Classes:
Clerics are shamans of the tribes. very nature based.
Druids. yep. More organised Shamans.
Sorcerer Check
Wizard, Rare to the extreem
Paladin yes
Ranger Check
Barbarian: Wouldn't be savage without them
Bard: Yes mostly oral very few instruments of note. (LOL)

Golem Template could work for Dwarf race, Steel Dwarf (fear rust monster), Stone Dwarf.

Interesting but Golem is a bad thing. Earth elemental is better. May work up a Plant template for the Gnomes and give Dwarves the Earth Elemental template.

Do you realise the effect of adding the Insectile template to a drow? Good Goddess! with the Multidexterity, weapon and multi-tasking feats you have a walking magical tank. 6 arms means at least i spell going off and 4 weapon attacks.
