Savannah Knights Redux

For those of you who don't know, Acquana is the screen name of Jessica Jones, who DMed Savannah Knights. She's also did the cover art and some of the interior art for Wild Spellcraft. You can see some of her older pics on the High Fantasy website, but she cautions that she drew most of those before she went to art school.

The storyhour is updated with "Chapter Five: The Ferret Hidey-Hole." It's a fairly light-hearted adventure.

For those more statistically minded, you can find rules for some Savannah Knights magic items, plus stats for yet another PC.

Fans? So many . . . . I had no clue.

I love you ALL!!! ^_^

You mean you didn't notice you had fans the last few times we heaped praise on Savannah Knights? *Of course* you have fans! It's a wonderfully original setting, with a fun premise and a great flip on using traditional D&D in a very untraditional way.

(Now if someone would just let slip what hotel she's staying in, I'm sure I could bribe the bodyguards and get close enough to beg for an autograph.)

Great! Thanks, RangerWickett! I'll just gather up the local fan club ("The Savannah Squires") and we'll hop on a plane. This weekend good for y'all?

Just a quick note that I definitely enjoyed the story hours, and that you have a career as a kick butt DM (I hadn't heard whether you DM'ed anything after this).

Good gaming!

My personal favorite chapter, "Chapter Seven: Tower of the Dragon," is now available for reading. Appropriately, we have a few rules that show how Dragons in High Fantasy differ from standard D&D Dragons, and we explain why most famous Dragonslayers fought with muscle, not magic.

Ah, chapter seven. I got to play a sniveling weakling, and it was glorious. It was really freeing to not mind if everyone made fun of my character, because I knew I deserved it. But I play a D&D gamer in this chapter, so I made sure to at least try to be heroic. :)

Well, we couldn't get our whole club through the security checkpoints at the airport in time for the flight, so we thought we'd reschedule. How's next weekend? Can you get your crowd control people in place in time? ;)

Yes, the Orcs will be in place, disguised as SCAD students. Unfortunately, Jenny graduated last year, and I don't know where she's run off to.

Oh, and by the way, the storyhour has been updated. "Chapter Eight: Dead Men Tell Tales."
