Wonderfalls Campaign Begins

E! Online columnist Watch With Kristin has taken the unusual step, for a journalist, of mounting a petition to resurrect Fox's canceled fantasy TV series Wonderfalls. <!-- END -->The columnist has also organized a "Save Wonderfalls" campaign, which urges fans to send letters and small animal-shaped items to executives at The WB and UPN, which are possible new homes for the series.

The petition has already drawn more than 10,380 signatures. Fox canceled Wonderfalls last week, after only four airings, because of low ratings. The show had premiered at midseason on Fridays before moving to Thursdays opposite C.S.I. and The Apprentice.

Random otherwise-inanimate objects suddenly start talking to a cute slacker philosopher girl from an over-achieving family, telling her to do things (and giving her no choice or else they will sing to her through the night until she does it) that seem extremely unusual but ultimately make the world better, sometimes to her disappointment. Add in several other interesting characters like lesbian sister, brother getting PhD in religion, and newly divorced boy at the bar that she likes, shake inside a trailer park, and stir in some magic from niagra falls (where she works retail and hates it).

Huh, sounds fundimentally a lot like Tru Calling, which, amazingly, is still going. When I noticed how good that was, I thought it was doomed ater 4 or 5 shows...
