I just saw an expanded clip of part of the highway chase on CNN, we have all seen in the trailer and TV spots of agent Smith leaping onto the a car and the car starts to colapse/ flip when he lands on the hood. After that he leaps onto the hood of another car with the same force and that car does not colapse in the front, can we say "ignore continuty". The car that does not flip is being driven by the heros, so they know the matrix is not real, but the car is part of the "computer simulation" and should be part of the same rules as the first car, IMO.

Well the first car must've been one of those cheapy imports, while the hero's car must've been a nicely solid built American car!

Everyone knows that American cars withstand the impact of people jumping on the hoods much better than the cheapy imports... right? uh... right?!

Of course now if they were using an expensive import, instead of a cheapy... that would've been a whole other ballgame.
