Say it Ain't So!

What level will he be? 30th, too? or something more

Also, you don't need 29 levels of monk for the best possible saves: You can as well be Pal1/Monk 19/Anything else 10, since the epic save bonuses are the same for everyone. (although you might still want to be monk for the Monk Feats). This would also solve the Problem of the outsider, since you would still be a humanoid.

I agree if this is just a twink fest then throw in a level of Templar in there so that you can get Evasion for all your Saving Throws :D Now that I think about it Pal1/Monk19/Templar10 isn't too shabby.

The various Protection spells prevent bodily contact from summoned or conjured creatures, but not other outsiders. This is in the FAQ (p.39). The wizard will gain a +2 to AC against your monk's attacks, and a +2 bonus on saves against your effects (like stunning attack and so on), but that's all.

Note that the wiz may not even gain that much, because these are named bonuses. The AC improvement is a deflection bonus, which does not stack with a Ring of Protection. The save improvement is a resistance bonus, which does not stack with a Cloak of Resistance. Any epic wizard probably has both items at +5 or higher, so the spell's bonuses have no effect.

Unless someone on your team starts summoning lawful monsters (like devils or archons), the permanent ProtLaw is entirely moot.

Yea, that's true: I have a bladesinger with permanent resistance, and a speical purpose sword that gives me a +2 deflection bonus to AC when I defend elfes. But since I have both a cloak of resistance and a ring of protection +3 (has been loot), I don't gain these bonuses any more!

Hmmm, actually its an interesting point, it depends on how you read the protection from evil spell.

Does it read good elementals, and outsiders (basically an elemental of good alignment and all outsider) or good elementals and outsiders (good elementals and good outsiders).

It does say in the monks descrption of perfect self that he is affected by spells that repel lawful creaturs, such as prot. from law.

Yes, a Mnk20 is affected by things that affect lawful outsiders. However, Protection from Law does not have any special effects on outsiders per se. The bonuses to AC and saves apply against all lawful creatures, regardless of type. The holding-at-bay effect applies only to summoned and conjured creatures, regardless of their type.

A summoned Mnk20 can be held at bay with ProtLaw, but so can a summoned Mnk1, or even a summoned hobgoblin. A creature that is neither summoned nor conjured-- like an outsider on its home plane, or a PC in nearly all circumstances-- can pass right through the protection effect without any trouble at all. Creature type is irrelevant to the spell's effect.

Paladin 1/Monk19/Something else 10

Also, ring of spellstoring with anti-magic field, then concentrate on grappling. If he is grappled and can't cast quickened still spells or activate magic items, he is shut down. You can pick him apart at your leisure (since you can attack with a light weapon while grappled, or make you grapple check to do unarmed damage).
