Scarred Lands: Best Books?

Knightfall

World of Kulan DM
I just bought a copy of the Scarred Lands: Ghelspad campaign book and I'm interested to find out which of the other Scarred Lands books are worth getting. I also have the following:
  • Creature Collection: Revised
  • Creature Collection III: Savage Bestiary
  • Secrets & Societies
  • Shelzar: City of Sins
I'm more interested in any of the Scarred Lands books that are v.3.5 rather than v.3.0, but if there is a great v.3.0 Scarred Lands book that is just too good to pass up, I want to know about it. (Note that I did once owned Relics and Rituals, but I sold it as I didn't really like it. Plus, as far as I know its never been updated to v.3.5.)

I'm already keen on getting the Termana campaign setting book since I know that book is v.3.5. Still, I'm not very familiar with the Scarred Lands product line.

Cheers!

Hollowfaust: City of Necromancers, very evocative setting book and my favorite part of the Scarred Lands.

These are the ones I'm most interested in hearing about:
  • Blood Bayou
  • Blood Sea: The Crimson Abyss
  • Echoes of the Past: The Slarecian Legacy
  • Edge of Infinity: The Scarred Planes *
  • Hornsaw: Forest of Blood
  • Strange Lands: Lost Tribes of the Scarred Lands *
  • Vigil Watch: Secrets of the Asaatthi
* Especially these two. ;)

I am a big SL fan, but not as much the newer books. I would say that, for me, the best books were Hollowfaust, Burok Torn, Calastia, Hornsaw, and the two Vigil Watch books.

Shelzar was good too, but I need to tweak a few things to make it work.

The Ghelspad Campaign book is good, so you have a good start.

Oh... jeez.

I can't believe I forgot to add in Divine and Defeated. That is a key Scarred Lands book. Moreso than the players' guides that came out.

Anybody know why exactly the Scarred Lands line was discontinued back in 2004?

Good question, I am not sure. I think the Sword & Sorcery imprint and White Wolf may have decided that Scarred Lands wasn't selling enough, and quite frankly, the quality dropped after the 3.5 change over.
