[Scarred Lands; semi-poll] The Next Big Titan

Hell Mouse I'm just loving the whole sale titans period. What ever the next saga involves (or rather who) I just want it to be as fun and interesting as The Serpent Amphora Saga is. ;)

(Btw Ethan, nice choice! I too like the creative/forging aspects of both Golthagga and Corean. Not too often you get an LG god of Paladins AND artisans.)

I'm torn. I don't know WHO. They all sound so delicious. Barastrondo makes a GRAND point. Way to go! That's one thing that struck me about that Titan.

And Chern I like'm. Yaay Disease. :D

Any would be really good.

I'm going to be totally, completely biased here:

If it were me, I'd want it to be Golthagga.

<cool stuff cut>

I don't know about anybody else but forget what I said about those other titans; I want M. Skemp to write an adventure about Golthagga now. I have the sneaking suspicion it would rock.

Ditch those fleabags who are monopolizing you now and come do SL stuff full time!

And why not, for a change, that other titan ? You know, the one never likes and everyone bully at school and stole his lunch ? That little titan that was blinded, deafened, and otherwise maimed ?

As a martyr and a "friendly" titan, he could get some popularity among godslaves. His followers could rise to power in more ambigous ways than the typical "they're evil perverts, go kill them" style of Mormo, Chern or Gaurak.

Otherwise, Gaurak is perfectly disgusting, and make a nice source of immoral villains. Plus, the fear of being eaten is one of the most basic there is, which means it's an efficient one.

Been relatively new to SL and really having only read and purchased "The Divine and the Defeated", I am looking at this topic thru the eyes of my character, a cleric of Madriel with the domains of Sun and Healing. I would like to see my DM have a chance to use adventures dealing with undead, whom for some reason through out my gaming experience I have always hated. Therefore, at first I would feel that Chern would be the one I'd like to see get his "dues".

However, (there is alway a however, no?) I have to agree with Barastrondo's arguement for Golthagga. Being that Corean is in a way the default "Zeus" type of the SL Gods, having a true antagonist, your opposite but yet similar is very Greek mythology. It is not your typical black and white, good vs evil type of scenario but instead it is artist vs artist (as their followers probably would see it). Plus, I believe a Golthagga scenario can be flexible enough that any party, even a non Corean party, can easily be sucked into the intrigue and plot of creatures of said Titan.

Anyway, that is my two cents. Have a good day.
