I just got my SL DM's screen for my birthday (3/22) and I've gotta say, me like . . . lots! what else is new that I should look into? I know the DM's screen isn't exactly new, but its new to me.

You cannot play any game, much less a Scarred Lands game without Relics and Rituals I and II. :D At least, I can't. Hollowfaust is my favorite of the city books. It is very original, and has so much to be done with it. Wise and the Wicked is fun, even though its really just NPCs. Ghelspad campaign setting basically takes the gazeteer and expands it, but it includes prestige classes and other crunchy bits.

I thought you were the scribe? :D

with the exception of the wise and the wicked which wasn't a "must have now" book for me I already have and have had for some time all of the above. As I said in another post I have been out of the loop for a while . . . due to a seperation and a move
I also reciently aquired the penumbral pentegram and hornsaw
both of which look good btw. just asking about what else is "poppin" ;)

Do you have the Psionics toolkit? I found that one interesting, as it gives a good backstory for psionics in the Scarred Lands. Its related to the Slarecians, which is bonus points for me.

Huh??

Are you referring to the Psionics Toolkit by Fiery Dragon Productions (which is rather generic in setting and has no real ties to SL)? Or are you thinking of the psionics chapter in R&R2 that incorporates alternate psi rules??

psionics

no, to date I have not used psionics in my game, and my PC's are too weak to go up aginst any psions. their adverage level is 2. Also I am using a much slower xp progression so they are leveling about once per 2 game months

Looks like I am... It seems that someone planted a memory of reading about Slarecians in there....

Sorry about that. :)

It happens Skade.

My Scribe, so far I don't think there's much I can recommend just yet. But wait until June. Then you can get CC Revised and have MORE fun than you thought possible. ;) At least that's my hope.

Wilderness and Wastelands.

BEST supplement I've ever read. EVER. Why? Because it's the only sourcebook I know that follows the rule "Show, don't tell". Most campaign books are dry boring text that **tells** you how "unique" the world is. W&W **shows** you what the Scarred Lands really is through its flora, fauna -- and terrain.

I reviewed it on RPGnet ( www.rpg.net ). Lemme know if you have any questions.
