Scarrport: City of Secrets, now on sale!

I've submitted the files to Mongoose in hopes of having this puppy released through Flaming Cobra.

If everything goes well, hopefully I'll get it into stores before gencon, but I can't give any fixed dates yet.

OK, so I'll keep an eye on Mongoose's site then, and here, can't be too thorough.

I like the $1 PDF idea, but I would like a little more meat, even if you have to go to 2 or 3 dollars.

If you want a clearer idea of what I am looking for look at Giors Glassworks that is free from Patrick Lawingers company, and its part of his City Streets series. He is on RPGnow.

In fact, here is the link to his freebie:

RPGNow.com - Generic Universe Publishing - Gior's Glassworks

This is a good example of the kind of depth I like in such "site" products.

Hey thanks for the response and the link. Patrick's done some great work on these. I've always been impressed with his presentation of the products and how useful they are for any game.

After I replied to your last post, I sort of got this wild fit of brainstorming about a location and how it would tie-in to some city tiles for Scarrport that I'm having done. Long story short, I'm going to do specific locations that are complete with map tiles for you to use when you run games that have the location in them.

Each location will have background info (like lore, but not little tidbits, probably paragraphs of lore for each DC), NPCs, encounters, etc..

The first one is called the Reaver Fight Club, and deals with an underground pit fighting circuit in the underwarrens.

It should be alot of fun.

It won't be too expensive, maybe 2 or 3 bucks. If it was just the maps tiles, then it'd be cheaper, but more work will be going into the supplement.

I'll be following up with other cool locations, like the dead gates in Torel, and Crown Point.

Places like the Hellfury Peaks and Dark wood might need to be bigger efforts, but, I don't know yet. I might do them as small supplements which (like locations in Scarrport) focus on areas of the mountains and forest.

Now that stuff sounds cool!

Yeah, PAtrick did a lot of nice work with Necromancer. Editing, wrote Morrick Mansion, co wrote City State of the Invincible Overlord with Bob B., and did a lot of work on the Wilderlands boxed set. So Patrick has one heck of a resume in my book. Plus I met and gamed with him at GenCon 2006, and he is a very likable guy on top of it all.
