We allowed PCs with alchemy to make a scent deadening lotion, similar to the "earth soap" that is used by modern day bow hunters. Blocks out all natural scent for a short period of time. (a few hours at most).

I would suggest INVISIBILITY and FLY. How can you leave a scent when you are not touching the ground?

Another option might be to POLYMORPH into orcs or worgs. In addition to smelling like something that belongs, it tends to negate the need to Hide, Move Silently, and be invisibile.

If you are limited in the number of POLYMORPH type spells your wizard can cast, the old, "Hey look, I've got some prisoners!" routine seems to be tried and true.

A third option is to bring along something the worgs might like to eat. Sure, worgs (INT 6) are a little more intelligent than wolves or dogs (INT 2), but they are opportunists and only hunt humaoinds when they can't manage weak or sick herbivores. Carry some raw meat and you might be able to convince the worgs that (hopefully don't) find you to snack on that instead of you.

Additionally, with a Will Save of +3, Charm Monster might work. Heck if you can cast Charm Monster and have a Druid or Ranger with Wild Empathy and Handle Animal (3.5) or Animal Empathy (3.0) then you might even be able to charm a worg and convince it to help you avoid the orcs and other worgs...

We want to stay hidden as long as possible and we don't want to go in through the front door. Because the orcs will most likely have a cleric at the gate who casts Detect Magic if there are a few new faces.
Once we are in, one of us has to become visible. The others will lurk around and protect him. Maybe the visible guy should be polymorphed into an ork. Thats a good idea to fool the worgs.

As for arcane magic support once we are in the city. There will be almost nothing except for maybe scrolls from the rogue. We have no wizard or sorc in the party. The buffing and teleporting will be provided by the Loremaster of the Moradin temple.

The same way I can smell, say, a cigarette when it's not touching the ground.

The scent ability doesn't just let a creature track a trail of scent on the ground, it also lets them smell smells that are in the air and detect creatures that way.

Hello,

we are about to go into an Orc City to recover an Artifact and we are trying it the sneaky way.
We have access to a high level mage who will teleport us in, make us invisible and so one, but I'm worried about the scent ability of worgs.
Is there any spell which masks your scent?

Any other spell or tactic advice for sneaking into an Orc City?

You should be able to clean up and mask your scent with an earh sent, or worg scent, or whatevr you're attempting to smell like. Won't last forever, but it should last at least until the fighting or running away happens (sweat). Get a good antiperspirant to have it last longer (naturally occurrin alum should do the trick nicely).

Alternatively you could work up a custom spell...
Or you could simply mask your smell with another, overpowering scent. Thow that scent around everywhere, and there's no telling where YOU are, the scent is "blinding", so to speak. Think anise seeds, or something of that nature.

Browsing through my database of alchemical preparations...

The Kalamar Player's handbook has a substance called Mooreta, which "masks odors, increasing the difficulty of tracking creatures by smell when used to cover their tracks". 15 gp per dose, DC 25 to craft. Doesn't give too many details for this use though. You can also use it to mask, say, a troglodyte's Stench ability, in which case it functions for only 2d4 rounds. I would assume it works much longer than that when masking a normal body odor.
