But the movie was actually enjoyable and not nearly as cringe inducingly bad like nearly all the SF channel movies are. Well worth catching when the inevitable reruns hit.

It is funny though, Patrick Swayze is not in nearly as many movies as I thought. He's got a lot of name recognition, but he's only made about 50 movies, most of which aren't terribly remarkable.

Red Dawn, Dirty Dancing, and Ghost were all big cultural phenomena, more than just movies. That's the key to his reknown, imo.
