I've been trying to find a copy of Scion, but so far I've not found a bookstore that carries it and the three gamestores I've tried have been sold out of it.

I don't know what your FLGSs are like (you have three of them?!? Lucky bastard!), but you can probably ask for them to order/hold one for you. Or if you're really desperate you can always get it online.

If you ever get up to Birmingham try giving Legion a call at 205-970-0999 and ask to speak to someone in the gamestore - preferably TJ. They tend to have lots of WW stuff in stock. I would check for you tonight but am going out of town myself. If I can swing by on the way home tomorrow night I will try and remember to look and let you know.

As for the game: I bought a copy and loved the flavor text and the general setting. Unfortunatelly my first thought was "how could I run this in d20." I would like to give the WW system a try sometime, but as my friend likes to say "So many games, so little time."

Amen, brother. I'm not a fan of WW's system in general, but I can totally sympathize. I'd personally like to set up a one-shot game night, where we'd just play one-shots of different games every couple weeks.

Funny, my first thought when I saw the tick system is "Wow, I should start a thread in House Rules for this!"

Ultimately I decided it would be too much work and invalidate too much established stuff and in the end I'd never get the chance to use it anyways. :/ I'm glad to see someone's working on it, though!

Well, I think I have worked up a version of something similar that doesn't invalidate anything. I posted it in House Rules under this thread:
