Scooby Doo Cthulhu!

Paul Lynde. C'mon...you know you wanna!

Oh HELL! What would Timothy Leary see on LSD...in a Mythos-infused Haight-Ashbury?

And with THAT in mind, did you know that "godflesh" is a translation of a term some Native American tribes used for peyote? So...which god might they see when ingesting magic mushrooms in Mythos-touched worlds?

Like ZOIKS, Scoob! This peyote is better than Scooby Snacks!

Come to think of it, Paul Lynde was the voice of Templeton the Rat in the Charlotte's Web cartoon. Maybe he could be Brown Jenkin?

And, I think I found the cover art for this game:

At least in 1960s San Francisco, you can have celebrity cameos like in the cartoon. I'd replace Sonny & Cher with Jerry Garcia and Grace Slick and the Addams Family with the Manson Family, but I'd still keep Don Knotts and Phyllis Diller because they're just trippy as is. B-)

You guys are nuts. :) I love it! I really needed a mystery machine model so that will work great. In fact, i might use all of those cut outs, although i have a bag full of minis for modern games that *might* work. I think by the time i get to mid-paragon 4e i'll be ready to end the campaign and try something else until Dark Sun comes out.

Scooby-Dooby-Doo, Where Are You?
We got some work to do now.
Scooby-Dooby-Doo, Where Are You?

Zoinks!

"Where's my glasses!"

"Jinkies!"

"Scooby Doo, where are you?"

This is awesome. I'm an unofficial "Scooby Doo, Where are You!" fan.

I personally like the episode with an airfield ("Spooky Space Kook") best. For a long-term campaign, you'd probably want each session to be an episode of the show.

The Innsmouth Look

Don Knotts is totally from Innsmouth. He's got that classic "Innsmouth look":

And I think The Incredible Mr. Limpet was loosely based on The Shadow Over Innsmouth:

Pickman's Model
He once posed for his portrait with artist Richard Upton Pickman:

This Way Lies Madness

There's definitely more than a few failed Sanity checks there:

Yeah, there is definitely a very Lovecraftian vibe to Don Knotts:
