How you feel is only up to you, but..

I wonder if people actually LOOKED at the subscriber only section that they felt ripped off not getting?

I mean, last issue was a reprint of an old adventure (chasm bridge or whatever) updated to 3.5
I didn't mind, it was a neat bonus, but I can't see paying for it.

"Fish Story" from a few issues back was quite good, I thought. I am a bit biased since the author is a player in my weekly campaign, but it really is worthwhile.

I suspect Adam would have preferred *not* to be relegated to the "Subscribers Only" section - in that respect this is certainly a good change for authors as well as potential readers.

People that buy Dungeon in a store will now get the same magazine that subsribers get. They have been putting in "subscriber only adventures", this made alot of people that did not subscribe mad that they were not getting the whole magazine. This is a good change, now that they are getting rid of subscriber only stuff.

I understand that the "subscriber only adventures" were "subscriber only" and in addition to what was released on the newstand.

My question is, which of the following is the method for this:

a. No longer include extra pages in the "poly months", thus cutting back the page count for subscribers (Most likely)

-OR-

b. Increase the page count in the "poly months" for the newstand copies, making them equal in length, thus resulting in no page count loss for subscribers (less likely, would be nice)

Please do not read this as a complaint, it is not. I subscribed to Dungeon primarily for the Adventure Path Series which I have been very happy with. The rest is just gravy.

... is there any sensible reason for the split sides? Isn't is just there because there used to be two magazines? Does it serve any useful purpose? .... The "split" presentation seems to me to be a silly presentational gimmick.

Does this answer your question?

I only used the Poly content, and I could keep them Poly-side-up.

What is a "poly month"?

A month when the poly content was greater then the dungeon content. I understand this is going away as well.

My Main concern here is that some subscribers are going to claim that they have been lied to. The subscription advertisements have listed the subscriber bonus as a reason to subscribe for many months now.

Some will have the perception that they were cheated out of content they already paid for. We are already seeing some of this in this thread http://enworld.cyberstreet.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=59775 from those who have subscribed for the poly content. It is too be expected of course that any change to the magazine will potentially alienate part of the subscriber base.

Is the Dungeon/Poly total page count going to go down for subscribers on the old poly months, or is it simply going to increase for non-subscribers.

If it is going to decrease, does Paizo have a plan to address subscribers who feel that they are not getting what they agreed to pay for?

their standing policy is a refund. J.Wilson will send you an email with some kind of "if you don't like the content we will be happy to refund you your subscription cost."

One question, did Erik say what issue these changes would be in place by? I belive the page count now will be the same for subscribers and non subscribers.

I believe it was stated we would begin seeing changes in #104. This was stated shortly after Erik took the helm. Not certain if we will see all of the above changes by issue #104 though, but we will likely see some of them.
