Scope of d20 Modern?

Well, there is no future stuff in the book. Everything I saw in there, besides magic and psionics, exists today. However, I think will a little DM creativity and perhaps some future suppliments a future campaign would be really easy. Just like with some research I think d20 modern could work really well for the 1700's.

I guess you didn't see the robots, moreaus and replicants -- all science fiction applications of AI programming that doesn't exist today or genetic technology that doesn't exist today.

Now that you mention them I recall seeing them. I was just very unimpressed with the monster section I forgot about them.

Yeah, well, adding gadgets to make the game futuristic is also the easiest conversion possible. Just buy the Dragonstar or Star Wars equipment books, and off you go.
