The film just arrived around this part of the world... seems awful silly movie... yet the action part of it could be interesting ?

Yep I found the other post... yet many times I wasnt sure what and how much they liked the movie... or disliked it.

Conan was a good movie for some really wierd reasons in my opinion... the Music was great, good, awesome, perfect.. it set the mood and made the filme special. Analyze the rest and the film has great visual, some neat ideas but isnt "great"... yet it endures as one. The Package as a whole is much more than the parts I suppose.

Scorpion King according to the criticisms is only an action movie... no good fantasy ideas... no one said anything about music... etc... I wanted to get a better feeling about what makes the movie ...

There's no option for "good, cheesy fun"!

Scorpion King is the '00s equivalent of the old Ator or Beastmaster movies, except with better action scenes.

Beastmaster and Ator were more worth seeing on TV than spending time and money going to the movies.... werent they ? I should have put a "Wait for the Video release" poll option...

Everyone seems to be comparing Scorpion King to Conan, and I have to say that I must be in the minority. Conan was/is an awful film. No budget, no real storyline and looks cheap & nasty.

Scorpion King had better action, more excitment and I rooted more for the hero than I ever did with Conan.

At least it wasn't as bad as the Dungeons and Dragons movie! elechhh! I wish I could demagnetize the part of my brain that saw it....
