Slipping a short heavy dagger out of her boot, Ballista approaches the face examining the outside edge of the demonic visage trying to discern how it is attached to the wall and if indeed it could possibly be removed. She picks at the stone around its edge to see if its set on the wall or into it. Being very careful not to get close to the plane of blackness, she looks for any kind of writing while trying to pry it off the wall.
