From the front page of ENWorld:
Delays shipping to Europe - this report from RPGd20.com: "Game stores in the UK are reporting delays in getting hold of new Dungeons and Dragons material from Wizards. The delay is being blamed on legal negotiations between WotC Europe and WotC U.S. Although the two branches belong to the same origination it is understood that WotC Europe now have to make purchases from WotC U.S. These purchases are then being sent directly to distributors. It has been said that new DnD material will be shipped to the UK in the next few weeks but probably not Masters of the Wild, which many people are waiting for. It’s understood that this delay is a temporary one and once the new legal agreement has been settled then Euro and US releases should be more or less simultaneous."

See - this is why we need a new one world order (hmm, "EN World order" :) ) then these international-exchanges would not be an issue :)

Herald for the EN World new world order :D

Haven't these guys heard of joined up writing? How come they are suddenly making an absolute hash of things after getting it pretty much right up to now?

I mean, to start with there was a one month wait for stuff to get to the UK, which was a pain but, well, you just deal with that. Then things started improving, and during 2001 some things came out here pretty much as quickly as in the US. Hurrah, parity!

Now this. Pah.

Looks like I may have to order from the US too. Or is this part of their cunning plan :(

Yes, I'm @#*!^ cheesed off too. Why are UK gamers generally treated so badly by TSR/WotC/Hasbro??

I think we should organise an e-mail campaign to whowever is head of the WotC part of Hasbro. A few thousand messages should get their attention.

Hi all! :)

That would be my guess, Krusty. Order from the US if you want it fast(er). :(

Okay I just checked Amazon.com

Their shipping costs are $3.99 per shipment/$3.99 per item to ship to the UK.

Which I presume means $7.98 total for two books.

The good news is that they seem to be doing a special deal on Call of Cthulhu and Masters of the Wild at the moment:

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/A...4959/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_67_1/104-0828195-6123911

So both for $41.92 + $7.98 (shipping) TOTAL: $49.90

...thats £35 real money. ;)

It says 11-18 business days for delivery.

This appears to still represent a saving of $10/£7 over face value so I will probably go this route myself.

Normally this wouldn't have annoyed me at all but they seem to have waited until WotC are about to release a continuous stream of great products I was all set to buy. :D

Russ has already mentioned the problems on the ENWorld News pages, hopefully an official statement will be forthcoming sometime soon, if this looks to drag on more than another week or so?
