Scribe Scroll.. want to be sure

If the players gets less gold, than if you use the tresure tables, how can it change the balance of the game if you lower the prices accordingly ?

The first thing is to make sure is that the players actually get less wealth than the recommended value in DMG, remember that wealth is much more than just the gold picked up.

Off course :)

I've calculate magic items etc.. and it is lower, unless you roll 1 everytime, you check the treasure table.

Anyway i might just change campaign :D

OK, i just wanted to make sure i got this right..

A lvl 3 cleric has the feat scribe scroll and wan's to make a cure moderate wounds scroll.

That will cost 150/25 = 6 exp and 150/2 = 75gp

This includes everything needed to make the scroll ink, pen and paper ?

Anyway this seems quite expensive, if this is correct have anyone made house rules here ?

If you want to use the scroll in combat, it's not expensive.

If you keep some backup scrolls to usually heal your party after combat, scribe 2 Cure Light Wounds scrolls (12,5 gp + 1 Xp, each) at caster level 1 instead of 1 Cure Moderate Wounds at caster level 3 (75 gp + 6 Xp). You cure the same amount oh Hp with 1/3 the price. But in combat it would take you double the time to use both, and potentially 2 AoOs :).

I'd suggest to have an assorted backup :)
