First Post
Scrollworks 25 is in the mail! The twenty-fifth issue contains a new Faces in the Crowd NPC, Lazarus Ewell, who is a nightmare on the battlefield. The Holsinger Jail studies a small prison suitable for modest towns and frontier areas. Michael's Imagination takes a look at skill selection in 3E and proposes a fix for issues such as, "Why can't the fighter hear anything?" Part II of Deities of Kalendia (courtesy of FDP) explores Tera'Meta, while the Message Board Round-up discusses ways to keep powerful PCs in line. There's On Point commentary, Sounding Off letters to the editor, In the Spotlight freelancer bios, and something about goblin bashing.

Scrollworks is a print zine that arrives in your mailbox as a welcome relief from bills and sweepstakes junk mail. Visit

I really wish that I could attend. I am a teacher by trade and my new school year starts on Monday. So, I'll be busy this week getting things in order and then it's rug rat time. I'm hoping to attend Origins in the future since July is an off month for me.

Be sure to drop by the Fiery Dragon Productions booth, though. They support Scrollworks, so any jack you send their way helps me!

Game on and enjoy the con!
