Sculpt Spell and "centred on caster"

How do these two interact? If a spell is normally "5' radius centred on caster", and it's sculpted into a 20' spread, is it still centred on the caster? What about the 40' cone?

IMC, we have ruled yes to both. Otherwise, Sculpt spell can be overpowered for its level adjustment as with Antimagic Field.
