D&D 5E Sea of Fallen Stars recaps

Mods, you can move this topic if needed, it's a story hour recap and generally neutral but it's from 5 years ago when I ran 4e. So it's not 5e. But people reading my 5e recaps might be interested to see it.

Anyway, I'm in the process of rebuilding these old stories and reinserting the art to archive them on my blog. I'm so glad I saved these, I tend to forget the details and it's really fun to look back years later and relive an entire adventure in full color clarity.

Anyway, it's a 9th or 10th level adventure and the last 4e adventure I ran after Shadowfell, Thunderspire, Pyramid of Shadows, and an entire remake of an old Dungeon module called Tallows Deep that I stretched into a mini-campaign.

It is set solely in the Sea of Fallen Stars area and is a homebrew. Well, I did borrow liberally from 4e Spellplague concepts. Altogether it was 14 sessions but it really petered out toward the end and I should have stopped it around session 11 or 12. Back in these days we also played weekly 4 hour games so there is a ton of material.

The campaign crashed at the end, sessions 13 and 14 I'm omitting because it started a new arc we never finished and i was hating 4e by then. But the first 12 were all one really fun story.

Adventure #1: Scuttlecove's Sorrow
Adventure #2: Dragon & Kraken
Adventure #3: The Flying Fortress of the Five Companies
Adventure #4: Lord Vlad Dralusha & the Forge of Fury
Adventure #5: Salamander Alley
Adventure #6: Brimstone & Angelheart
Adventure #7: Zarcon's Betrayal
Adventure #8: Paldemar's Doom
Adventure #9: Captain Kermit's Revolt
Adventure #10: The Throne Room of Lord Vlad Dralusha
Adventure #11: Day of the Hand
Adventure #12: The Templars of Ioun

I'm guesstimating this is a 40,000 word story with over 200 photos and pictures. So a short illustrated novel.

One interesting thing you might notice in the 4e recaps compared to the 5e recaps...the PC backgrounds and personalities fade into nothingness in 4e. Everyone blends into a homogeneous whole where only the combat matters.
