Does anybody have some good house rules for chases? I'd prefer something kind of dynamic or cinematic instead of something as simple as an opposed Dex or Con check.
Tournaments, Fairs & Taverns, by Natural d20, has some very good chase rules. I'm sure RangerWickett'd be around to plug it sooner or later, but I figured I'd do it first. I don't have my copy with me, or I'd give details, but it's certainly a book worth picking up for a number of contest rules.
I have seen a few different ones. I can never remember the exact one, but it was basically a d20 opposed roll where for each point win the runner would gain 5' or something like that.
