I would be interested in reviewing TFS. Seeing as how I'm working on a homebrew campaign that will soon involve the Age of Reason, this book might prove invaluable.

I haven't reviewed any source material before, so any directions to anything specific I need to know would be appreciated. :)

You shouldn't need any additional material to review the book, although I should say - fair warning - that Fantastic Science deliberately ignores real-world science in exchange for (what I think is) better flavor for fantasy games and fewer arguments about whether or not such-and-such device could really exist. I hope that won't force you to make too many changes to fit the book into your game. :)

I doubt it. I've never been a fan of "hard" science. I mean, if you can accept steam-powered golems, energy "rays" and giant-weapons-that-are-actually-moons in a campaign, surely it's not a far stretch for your product to fit in my world. ;)

Heh. Just thought I'd check. :D

One other thing, though - you might want to check out this thread, which RangerWickett recently revived. It has people's first reactions to the concept. I'll be adding some comments to it before too long, but more importantly you can check it out and see what everyone thought, and then assuage (or confirm) their fears in your review.

Not nearly enough lunar death rays in my opinion.

I'm sending you a complimentary copy. Thanks for volunteering.
