Seelie & Unseelie in Faerun

Re: Alzrius's post

And this is confirmed in Serpent Kingdoms (can't remember which page though).

Not if that sidhe noble also happens to be an [booming voice]EPIC[/booming voice] swashbuckler/sorcerer/bladesinger. Sapient monsters (especially ones like fey) can advance just like characters.

I give all my fey class levels more or less... makes them much more fun. Well, at least all of the ones from the courts.

And go with the prior continuity, it's better detailed and the new continuity is a contradiction in terms IMHO.
Incorrect perceptions aside, there's no good reason why the new continuity can't be used as it works just as well with old Planescape material and supports the concept of a pocket Fey Realm/Dimension (see Elaine Cunningham's Halruaa Novels for references to this).

@Devyn: The MMIII lists 8 new Fey creatures, several of which would fit well in Cormyr after the war. The Ragewalker seems most obvious, as they naturally emerge from landscapes, "...torn and twisted by war," and exist to put an end to all creatures that make war.

Perhaps in a bid to increase her influence in Cormyr, Shar bids one of her High Priests to contact the Unselie Fey in Cormyr and convince them to unleash Ragewalkers, Glaistigs (pool and lake dwelling, blood drinking fey), Splinterwaifs (city dwelling, child-eating fey) and Thorns (fey warriors) to once and for all clense the Wolf Woods of human contamination --all in exchange for Shar's Dark Blessing (access to the Shadow Weave).

Shar could very well "inspire" one or two mighty Shadovar Arcanists from Shade to help the Unselie Fey, as well.

In the counsellors and kings series by elaine cunningham, the unseelie play a part. They're set in Halrua, but they show what level of interaction they have in Faerun.
