Sell me an Adventure

First Post
ok, I had to rewrite this, because the Preview Post didn't work, just gaev me a blank page. :(

I'm trying to find a published adventure for a group of 25-40 y/o experienced gamers. Something in-depth, with a great plot and some real surprises, would be nice. Some hacknslash is fine in the mix too though. The party of 4 is very low in levls (below 10 total).

I've looked through some of the reviews on this site, but there's so many . . . and I still can't decide what to buy. Help!

Write your own. Published adventures are almost always a railroad, which tends to piss off experienced gamers.

However, if you must have a published adventure, allow me to recommend:

Vault of Larin Karr
Splintered Peace

These are both mini-settings as much as adventures, with lots of things for players to do and opportunities for further adventure after the events covered have been resolved.

I really enjoyed reading the Redwood Scar by Zeitgeist games.

It's set in Blackmoor, but its generic enough you could port it in easily. :)

In the Belly of the Beast is good business. I'm running it now (converted to Summa Fantasia).

For a good dungeon crawl, the Toad God's Treasure is an expertly designed environment; the only problem is that it gives out far too much wealth for its level, but that is easily fixed.

I also like Vault of Larin Karr(sp?), but it might be a bit rough for low level characters, The Freeport trilogy by Green Ronin is a very good series also.(its 3.0, but I believe a 3.5 version PDF is available)

Banewarrens is also worth a look. Lots of roleplaying opportunity, room to be creative and a couple of twists thrown in.

A third for Banewarrens. Though it sounds like you're party is rather low-level- 1st-3rd level characters, I'm guessing, if they add up to only about 10 total? Banewarrens is for 8th-12th... try running something else first. May I recommend the Tomb of Abysthor, intended for 2nd-8th level characters?

Banewarrens

A fifth (or whatever we're up to now) for Banewarrens. Had this answer just by looking at the first post. It took my jaded (some playing 20+ years) players and really tossed 'em for a loop.
